United States v. Stacey Jagessar- Mr. Wylie successfully defended Ms. Jagessar by obtaining a pretrial diversion in federal bank fraud charges.


United States v. Terrell Alexander - Mr. Alexander was charged with drug trafficking, armed drug trafficking, and illegal firearm possession. He faced a mandatory minimum of 20 years in prison. He was acquitted of all charges.

State v. Omar Ortega- Mr. Wylie successfully defended Mr. Ortega and obtained a dismissal of marijuana distribution charges. 

United States v. Sonya Balmaseda- Mr. Wylie successfully defended Ms. Balmaseda against mortgage fraud claims, obtaining acquittal as to all charges.


United States v. Francisco Sanchez – Mr. Sanchez was acquitted of distributing cocaine.


United States v. Ifeanyi Howard – Mr. Howard was charged with being an armed career criminal. Facing over twenty years, Mr. Wylie obtained an acquittal of all charges at trial.


United States v. Pinto – Mr. Wylie represented this Brazilian national who was acquitted of all charges relating to the use of false documents to enter the United States.


United States v. Jose de Jesus Vinicio – Facing a 10-year minimum mandatory sentence, Mr. de Jesus Vinicio was acquitted of importation of cocaine charges.


United States v. Lovett Johnson – Mr. Johnson was charged with making false statements during the purchase of a firearm.  Mr. Wylie successfully obtained an acquittal of all charges.


United States v. John Louis Williams – Mr. Wylie successfully obtained an acquittal of the charge of distribution of over 5 kilograms of cocaine, avoiding a 10-year mandatory minimum term of imprisonment.


United States v. Vera – Mr. Wylie successfully defended Mr. Vera against charges of receipt and attempted distribution of counterfeit money, obtaining an acquittal of all charges.


United States v. Manuel Echavarria – Mr. Wylie successfully defended Mr. Echavarria obtaining an acquittal as to charges of distribution of narcotics, armed trafficking, and illegal firearm possession, eliminating a twenty-year mandatory minimum sentence.


United States v. Dougera Illarion – Mr. Wylie successfully defended Mr. Illarion, obtaining an acquittal of all charges relating to illegal possession of ammunition and avoiding a 15-year mandatory minimum term of imprisonment.


United States v. Calvin Wright – Mr. Wylie successfully defended Mr. Wright against illegal firearm possessing, receiving an acquittal of all charges and avoiding a 15-year mandatory minimum.


United States v. Tavaris Sistrunk - Mr. Wylie successfully defended Mr. Sistrunk, obtaining acquittals of armed robbery and distribution of over 10 kilograms of cocaine charges, avoiding a 20-year mandatory minimum sentenced of incarceration.


United States v. Chuckie Taylor – Mr. Wylie defended Mr. Taylor, the son of the former president of Liberia, charged with the first ever prosecution for torture in a foreign country.


United States v. Paulo Almeida – Mr. Wylie successfully negotiated a dismissal of charges of making terrorist threats and bank robbery by intimidation.


The Fund v. Tenet Healthcare – Mr. Wylie successfully defended health care giant Tenet Healthcare in civil litigation with requested damages in excess of $100 million dollars.


United States v. Lina Marin-Marin – Mr. Wylie represented Ms. Marin-Marin who received political asylum after being convicted of using false documents while fleeing her home in Colombia.


State of Florida v. Phantom Fireworks – Mr. Wylie successfully appealed conviction of fireworks company for illegal sale of its merchandise.


National Shooting Sports Foundation et. al. v. Miami-Dade County et. al. - Mr. Wylie successfully defended numerous municipalities, including Miami-Dade County, in a lawsuit by various gun manufacturers.


United States v. Taylor – Mr. Wylie successfully represented sister and co-defendant of former mayor of Opa Locka, obtaining dismissal of felony tax evasion charges.
